Manners

Manners are very important. Good manners look nice whereas bad manners sore the eyes. People with good education and good upbringing usually have good manners whereas people who lack proper education and grow up as a lower class often lack manners or have improper or poor manners.

Manners are acquired not inherited

The good news is that manners can be taught and can be learned and memorized. If you were born into a family with no manners at all, then you can get a book on manners and learn all the different things you can do and cannot do in each situation. Different cultures also have different rules for what proper manners are. However some good manner rules are widely accepted such as the British manners whereas other types of manners are better kept in private or among those with the same upbringing.
