The Shape of Things

The Shape of Things is a 2003 movie starring the Oscar winning Rachel Weisz, Paul Rudd and Gretchen Mol. Below is a plot (includes spoiler) of the movie The Shape of Things as well as a review of the Shape of Things movie. The movie is rated R for language only.

About The Shape of Things (**contains Spoiler**)

The Shape of Things is a movie about a very weird art student who introduced herself as Evelyn Ann Thompson (Rachel Weisz). In the beginning of the movie, she met Adam Sorenson, played by Paul Rudd, in a museum. Adam expressed an interest in her so she set out to manipulate him and use him as her art project. She gave him false name, false stories about herself, and manipulate him using her body and pretending to love him.

Throughout the whole movie, she never actually did say that she loved him and when asked she would get upset and avoided the question in other ways. Adam actually fell for her because she was smart, funny and she made him feel like a better man which is common for most guys. Being in love with Evelyn that he was, Adam was willing to do everything for her including shedding his best friends when she demanded that he chose either her or the two friends whom she did not get along with. To make matter worse, Adam also kissed one of the friends giving Evelyn an even better excuse to make him never speak with them again. Adam was totally in love with Evelyn at this point so he complied because she said that if he didn't their relationship would have to end.
